How to use Meta Tags?

Meta tags are placed in a web page not intended for users to see but instead which typically passes information to search engine crawlers, browser software and some other applications. Most meta-tags are included within the ‘header’ code of a website and the most important tags are the title, description and keyword tags. Rules used by different search engines govern how such tags are used, how many characters they should contain, and how they should be formatted.
Search engines like Google no longer look at the Keywords and other meta tag.

How meta tags are look like:

Do not “stuff” this keyword meta tag by repeating your keyword phrases over and over. Search engines will ban sites for such practices.

The meta description tag has varying levels of relevancy in different search engines. Many search engines still support it and display it in their page description snippets in their search results.
This tag should be between a sentence to a paragraph and not visually appear keyword stuffed. The sentences should read well to the human eye
